Tida is a task app built so your information stays with you. There is no Tida account and no Tida server. We never see your tasks.
Tida has no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Everything you create in Tida — your buckets, tasks, due dates, reminders and settings — is saved on your device.
If you subscribe to Tida Premium and turn on iCloud sync, that same information is also stored in your own iCloud account, in a private area that only Tida on your devices can read. It is held by Apple under your Apple ID, not by us. We have no account system, no server and no way to access it.
Without a subscription, Tida does not sync and your data never leaves your device.
Sync keeps your buckets and tasks the same across the devices signed in to your Apple ID. It is a Premium feature and it is optional — Tida works fully without it.
Sync uses Apple's CloudKit private database. Apple's handling of that data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Premium subscribers can save a backup of their buckets and tasks to their own iCloud, and restore one later. Backups are taken only when you press the button — nothing is backed up automatically. Tida keeps your most recent backups and removes older ones as new ones are made.
Backups live in the same private area of your iCloud as sync. We cannot read them.
Separately, you can export your data to a file at any time, on any tier, from Settings. That file goes wherever you put it.
Premium subscribers can choose to show calendar events alongside their tasks. If you turn this on, iOS asks your permission first, and you pick which calendars Tida may read.
Tida reads those events on your device to display them. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your calendar, and it does not send calendar information to us or to anyone else.
If you tick an event off in Tida, Tida records that you dismissed it. That record is Tida's own and follows the same rules as the rest of your data.
You can revoke calendar access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Tida has no account, sign-up or login. We don't ask for your name, email or any personal details to use the app. Tida contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tools. We don't build a profile of you and we don't track you across apps or websites.
If you subscribe to Tida Premium, your payment is handled by Apple through the App Store under Apple's Privacy Policy.
To manage subscriptions — checking your purchase and restoring it if you reinstall Tida or change devices — Tida uses a service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous identifier and information about your purchase, such as which subscription you have and whether it is active, along with basic technical data needed to provide the service. This does not include your name, your email or the contents of your tasks. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
If you turn on reminders, Tida schedules them on your device. Reminder information is not sent to us or to any server.
You are in control of everything Tida holds.
We don't keep a copy of any of it, so there is nothing for us to delete on our end.
Tida is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Because Tida doesn't collect personal information from anyone, this isn't a concern in practice — but we note it for clarity.
If Tida adds features that change how your data is handled — for example shared lists — we'll update this policy and the date above before those features go live. Continued use of Tida after an update means you accept the revised policy.
